There are a variety of groups and ways at Trinity in which we support one another by prayer and gain confidence in praying

bullet

Prayer Meetings

A short time of quiet prayer in the Church every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, open to all comers. Meetings last about 15 minutes with readings, quietness and prayer.

bullet

Prayer Board

The prayer board lives permanently at the front of the church where written requests can be pinned up and left for others to see.

Candles can also be lit in memory of a loved one.

bullet

Prayer Chain

The prayer chain is a way in which people can pray immediately for a person or situation of urgent need. Prayer requests are made to the organiser who passes the request down the chain by telephone, and members of the chain pray there and then for the request.

Quiet Days and Retreats

We regularly organise quiet days and retreats either for the whole church family, or for the church council to get to know one another in a worshipful environment.

Trinity Morning Prayer

Lord, we are yours.
Take our hands and use them to serve you.
Take our minds and direct our thoughts.
Take our whole lives, and live in us.
That we may show your love to the world         Amen

Trinity Evening Prayer

May the power of God strengthen us;
May the peace of God still us;
May the wisdom of God direct us;
And may the love of God fill our lives
Today and always                                              Amen
