We are a new Church, starting in 1983 and moving to our premises in 1987. You can find out more about how we came into being on our history page. Currently we have about 260 worshipping members.

Our Mission

The intention of our Church is to be a single community for worship, mission and social activity; to respect individual denominations and traditions; and to strengthen inter-denominational bonds.

Not to do separately what can be done together

Worship

The constitution of Trinity Church states that worship will reflect the practices and tradition of the three participating denominations in such a way that newcomers will recognise their own tradition.

This gives worship at Trinity variety and depth allowing us to draw on the riches of different Church families. For example Wesley Hymns and modern choruses, organ and guitars, written congregational prayers and free prayer.

We also draw inspiration from outside the three parent denominations such as the Taize and Iona communities.

The main aim is to enable Christians of different traditions, ages and backgrounds to worship together and give Glory to God.

We have more about the worship style at Trinity Church, and the regular worship activities.
